Amora

• Amora is a Portuguese city and freguesia, located in Seixal Municipality, Setúbal District. It had a 2001 population of 50,991 inhabitants and a total area of 27.31 km²; its density was 1,867.1/km².Amora is situated in the banks of Rio Judeu, a tributary of the Tejo. The city was noted for its sea-based industry notably navy repairs and construction, fishing and other industries but nowadays is one of the dorm-cities surrounding Lisbon. Thousands of people leave everyday to work in the capital (by train, car or ferryboat) but choose to keep living in Amora due to its cheaper cost of living and good level of infrastructures and services.
